Cis gender people identify as the gender matching the sex they were assigned. Ru Paul is cisgender with regard to the fact he identifies as male and was assigned male. Trans gender people identify as a gender other than that of their assigned sex. Ru Paul has always been quite clear that he is a man (and is married to a man; both are openly gay). Ms Bettica has been on such a crazy ride this season. Eliminated episode 1, lip syncing for the win on an acting challenge, winning a singing challenge, bottom 7 lip sync smack down for doing reasonably well on snatch game, and then finally bottom 3 in a double elimination for doing okay in a roast. As Bob would say, "this is wild". Totally agree with the part about Season 2. It had just the right balance of drama and a focus on their looks. The contestants on Season 2 set the bar really high too. As much as Dragula wants to mock drag race, they have ended up adopting so many of their worst traits that originally set Dragula apart.The fact of the matter is that RuPaul's drag race is an insult to both women and trans people. It's not "exploring gender identity" or "crossing gender boundaries". It's men dressing up and acting like the most insulting caricatures of women possible.
